Some old person once said, “If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.” It’s an ancient proverb that has something to do with confirmation bias or incorrectly applying something to something. Who knows or would ever care? Nyamakop, the developers of Semblance, have proven that being a hammer can solve all of life’s problems. In Semblance, you use your character to make the world conform to your needs by beating it into position. Shacknews’ top boy Asif Khan sat down with Nyamakop’s Ben Myres to get a closer look at what makes Semblance stand out from the pack.

Hailing from South Africa, Semblance has a colorful palette and simplistic design, but its level deformation has made it a hit at every trade show where it has appeared. The team plans on releasing Semblance into the wild by the end of this year on Steam and the Nintendo Switch. You can find out more about the game at its official website.
