Hollow Knight DLC 3 Teaser Fights for 'Gods & Glory'

The third and final Hollow Knight expansion looks to take the masochistic platformer out with a bang.

That marvelous and masochistic Hollow Knight still isn't finished with its players just yet. After releasing two expansions, there's still one more on the horizon. Developer Team Cherry released the first teaser for this expansion on Wednesday, called Gods & Glory.

According to Game Informer, the expansion is aiming for an early 2018 release. This will introduce a new character called the Godseeker, who players will look to assist in her ancient duty. Players will find a new quest and new boss fights, all of which cross over with the Godseeker's quest. Completing the Gods & Glory quest will also unlock a mysterious new game mode, one that Team Cherry is only describing as a long requested "classic for the genre."

Those who have not played Hollow Knight (which recently finished as a runner-up for the Shacknews Best PC Game of 2017) will be able to access the Gods & Glory quest at any point during the main storyline. Look for the expansion to come soon, but in the meantime, here's the first teaser.
