Blizzard closed the BlizzCon 2017 opening ceremony with a double-dose of Warcraft news. Hot on the heels of the announcement that a vanilla WOW option is in development, the new expansion Battle for Azeroth was shown.

In the new expansion, the level cap has been raised to 120 as you fight for the Alliance or the Horde in a new war. There will also be new dungeons, new raids, and two new continents to explore.

Wow, Blizzard is out of ideas. Doubling down on horde vs alliance, when the past three expansions have been all about needing to work together and fight a common foe that's greater than either of them? No. People were expecting cross-faction communications at this point.

The cinematic is beautiful of course, but for the first time since the launch of wow, I'm not excited about a new expansion.

Yup same old boring conflict.... they could've added a 3rd faction that wants peace in the world and have Players choose at the beginning like the Panderns which faction they wish to join.
