South Park: The Fractured But Whole: PC Requirements Revealed

Find out if your PC has what it takes to run with The Coon.

Back in 2014, Ubisoft and Obsidian Studios released South Park: The Stick of Truth to consoles and PC. It combined some light, party-based RPG gameplay with sharp writing from the South Park creators to arguably form the finest video game ever based on a licensed property. Naturally, a sequel was quickly planned, though it was announced that Ubisoft San Francisco would be replacing Obsidian for development. South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone continued to be fully involved in the production, despite the development studio swap.

The sequel, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, will finally be releasing on current gen consoles and PC October 17th following a year of shifting release dates. Today Ubisoft revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version of the game.

What a strange requirement. It varies from game to game for me, but I usually have V-Sync off because the mouse feels less laggy, though some games, VSync is On and the mouse feels snappy; see idtech stuff. Just odd to see that they know their game feels like shit with it on and rather than address it, just recommend it off.

I usually turn off v-sync because I either run on borderless or the fps is lower than 165. I'm bad at noticing tearing though. I mostly only notice it on YouTube videos sometimes. =(
