I took a screenshot of what the ads were in Chrome at the time but I'm not sure it's enough. I added a new thing to the Google Chrome Shack Extension that prompts people when they change pages using onbeforeunload, but I can't really know if it'll stop that ad from doing its thing again until (unless?) it happens again.
I'll upload the updated extension to the Google Code page if anyone else wants to keep the Developer Tools window open and run the new version.

Just let it run in the background. As soon as something pops up, copy the "details" (right click item) of anything that looks like an adtag, such as:
URL=http://ad.doubleclick.net/adj/cm.gamefly/;net=cm;u=,cm-31972376_1260564613,115a2c20710ec63,games,cm.games_L;;ord1=888747;sz=300x250;contx=games;btg=cm.games_L;ord=2313566?
Keywords being 728x90 and 300x250, URL=http://ad.doubleclick.net/ etc
Also it wouldnt hurt to save the page source if you can. Lastly, note if you're on the homepage, or a particular article so on and so forth.
This should narrow it down to 2-3 ads that can be tested specifically.
