I took a screenshot of what the ads were in Chrome at the time but I'm not sure it's enough. I added a new thing to the Google Chrome Shack Extension that prompts people when they change pages using onbeforeunload, but I can't really know if it'll stop that ad from doing its thing again until (unless?) it happens again.
I'll upload the updated extension to the Google Code page if anyone else wants to keep the Developer Tools window open and run the new version.

An info you can send is helpful. Most valuable would be knowing which ads show up on the page before the redirect hits. We believe it is the 300x250 rectangle as the similarly-offending ad that showed up a couple weeks ago was the same placement. Still, it could be the banners. If you have Fiddler or another app that can tell us which ad network / source is serving the ad, that would be even better.
As for removal, it has nothing to do with contracts, incentives or the like. It is simply a matter of finding where this evil crap is coming from. We use large reputable ad networks, but they sell to other networks, etc. As you guys know, bad actors can almost always find a way in. Once we identify the precipitating ad and its source network, we'll clear it ASAP.
