Watch Dogs PC system requirements revealed

The long-awaited (and long-delayed) Watch Dogs is set to release on May 27, which means PC players have until then to make sure their systems can handle the CTOS' technological onslaught. The game is now available to pre-order on Steam and the listing includes the minimum and required specs for anyone hoping to experience Aiden Pearce's journey on their PC.

Steam (via Polygon) offers the following:

Minimum requirements:

  • Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8 (Only 64 bit OSs supported.)

  • Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5770 with DirectX 11 graphics and 1GB of video RAM

  • Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Ghz or AMD Phenom II X4 940 3.0Ghz CPU

  • 6GB Memory

  • 25GB of HDD/SSD space

Recommended requirements:

  • Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8

  • Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 ti or AMD Radeon HD 7850 with DirectX 11 graphics and 2GB of video RAM

  • Eight core - Intel Core i7-3770 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 X8 4 GHz CPU

  • 8GB Memory or more

  • 25GB of HDD/SSD space

The Steam listing also notes that the following video cards are currently supported: nVidia GeForce GTX460 or better, GT500, GT600, GT700 series; AMD Radeon HD5850 or better, HD6000, HD7000, R7 and R9 series Intel® Iris™ Pro HD 5200.
