My reflexes are barely fast enough for single-player shooters these days, let alone multiplayer ones, but somehow I've become addicted to the battle royale genre over the last year (even if I do spend the majority of my time hiding or dying). Population One is a new VR battle royale game from publisher Big Box VR that takes many of the standard elements of the genre but mixes them up with gameplay focused on verticality and constant movement. Using their Vertical Combat System (VCS) you can climb anything you see in the game to line up the perfect sniper shot or just glide down with guns blazing! I will do neither of these things and, instead, will most likely die repeatedly for your amusement. So hop in, join the conversation, and watch as I attempt to git gud!
