A few months back, I was gifted five boxes of records from a wedding DJ. He got them from a radio DJ in Connecticut years ago who had tens of thousands of records and wanted them to wind up somewhere other than in the trash. I believe he had found homes for most of them but there were still thousands left.
Over the years the wedding DJ took all the stuff he wanted, so anything like a Pink Floyd or a Led Zeppelin album are gone. And over the years he's let other folks come and pick the collection clean.
What was left were these five boxes.
And being a weirdo with a small record collection I figured I'd take the torch. Some of these I'll keep, and I'm not sure what I'll do with all of them, but seeing as how I have an Instagram account I never use I thought it would be fun to go through all the records and document what I find on there.
