Werd - Thanksgiving update

Now with more Cortex!

boarder2

Werd has been updated with the following changes:

  • Added a splitter to resize comments shown in cortex and news posts
  • Hide chatty comments in embedded web view on cortex and news posts since they're shown in the native app format
  • Hide shacknews header and footer in embedded cortex and news posts so there's more room for the actual content
  • Added Cortex points to the chatty views so you can track how much you're doing it for Shacknews
  • Added user info button so you can track how much others are doing it for Shacknews
  • Reduce memory usage and prevent unexpected audio/video when WebView pages are in the navigation stack by navigating to an empty web page if the view isn't currently displayed
  • Minor bug fixes, optimizaitons, and style tweaks

Hey the man with the briefcase : Any chance at being able to save template posts somehow? One could save off the HTML and paste it in every time but having the rest of the stuff stay filled out would be even cooler.

Or if not straight up "templates", being able to duplicate from an old post?

You could build all that into werd!

I don’t want to take away page views and stuff. The Cortex composer doesn’t work well in the EdgeHTML WebView either, unfortunately. I suppose I could probably fix it with extension like scripting but that sounds like a pain in the ass and almost no one would use it I suspect.
