I did not get tacos this time around. Instead I got a tostada an a burrito!

to warnings I said yada yada
they had rightly said
eat the mild instead
Next time I’ll order a tostada

    The bread is pretty decent but it's lacking in meat. It's got some meat but literally nothing else.
    
    Kind of a disappointment. At least I have a burrito to look forward to eating soon!

      Sucks about the lack of meat, torta de asada is generally served with TONS of fried onions and good chunk of avocado, maybe some salsa.

        I definitely order double meat if I want a very meaty torta from my go-to LA places.
        
        I’ve had ones with the type of bread like in Maddog’s photo, but I prefer the crusty bolillos you usually get out here (crusty French roll-ish).

        A double meat is not a bad idea. But I'm most likely never going to eat a torta at this place again. I don't know.
        
        They do have good burritos. I'm full from just eating one lol

        I had a birria torta last night, as a matter of fact. Double meat!
        
        Meat was good, but they did the pressed type with bun like in Maddog’s dinner. It was a change of pace, but I’d rather have that crusty roll.

  Tortas can be very hit or miss. A bad burrito is still good usually. A bad torta is very disappointing.

        Oh yeah I definitely agree. But I refer to Taco Bell because they're a large fast food chain that has a commitment to making food fast and ultimately that means some safe decisions involving the five basic ingredients that they use.
        
        But Taco Bell is absolutely a terrible example of anything that is tex mex or even dishes that natives from Mexico would make.
