Shackpets continues to grow as a platform and as an app, and today I am really happy to introduce some new features in version 1.0.6. Let's kick off Shacknews E6 2022 with some Buddies. Please take a look at this video breakdown of the E6 update below.

- Introducing Buddies follow feature
- Find your favorite pets more easily with this new bookmark-like feature
- There will be no Buddies count (this feature is not about clout)
- Star Buttons added to the app to allow for easy adding of Buddies
- Users can add Buddies using Star Buttons across the app in the Vote, Challenge, and Latest Pets screens
- My Pets screen is now Pets screen
- Users can switch between My Pets and My Buddies
- Manage your Buddies from the Pets screen
- New Filter options added to Vote, Challenge, and Latest Pets screens
- Users can now filter each screen to vote in matches featuring their favorite animals with pet type filters and Buddies.
- Users can also filter the Challenge screen by pet type or just challenge their Buddies
- Users can now browse Latest Pets by pet type or just turn on Buddies Only for a feed of your favorite pets
- Introducing brand new Search function
- Users can now search for pets
- Add Buddies through the new Search screen
- Works way better than Shacknews Chatty search
- Win Screen added
- Did you win Shackpets for the day? Well, we added a flashy celebration screen that now works!
We are still working on some more amazing updates for Shackpets, but we couldn't let Shacknews E6 2022 kick off without a special update for our users. Thank you so much to our early adopters for inspiring us to keep working to make Shackpets better.
The Shackpets version 1.0.6 E6 update is available now for free on iOS. We hope to have the update on Android soon.
