It's been a minute since the guys at VomitroN have released a video game cover album. Guess what, though? They're back! This Friday, more NES classic tunes are getting the heavy metal cover treatment with the band's latest cover album, RighteousNES.

If you haven't had VomitroN melt your face off yet, you should catch up with some of the stuff from their previous albums, No NES for the Wicked and NESsessary Evil. Their Contra cover from their first album is the stuff of legends, having been heard on many a YouTube video.
For an idea of what's coming in their new album, the band released their Ghost 'n Goblins cover earlier this week on Bandcamp. I don't want to alarm anyone, but it rules.
