Ubisoft Reveals Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and an Assassin's Creed Tease

No details on any of this, but just proof that they exist and will probably be at E3.

Ubisoft teased not one, but three new titles today, each expanding on previous popular franchises from the publisher. We got Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, and something about a new Assassin's Creed.

While none of these are really a surprise, what is a bit unusual is the method we got them. Far Cry 5 was confirmed through a new section for the game on the official forums, and The Crew 2 got a new logo dropped in its forums under the title "The Best is Yet to Come."

At least the Assassin's Creed tease came via a tweet from the UK Assassin's Creed account saying only "Sharpen your blade. The Assassins will soon step out of the shadows..." An accompanying image shows the AC logo and the tag line "A New Era Begins."  A report has circulated that the AC game will be Assassin's Creed: Origins and set in Egypt.

With E3 right around the corner, we should get more info at Ubisoft's as-yet-unconfirmed pre-E3 press conference. Stay tuned.

Awesome, I have a feeling all three of these will look amazing.

I hope they allow the Crew 2 to be offline like Horizon 3 and that it does not force a 24/7 internet connection. If they are at all aware of the gaming industry and what is up they would also know that the new Need 4 Speed will be able to be fully played in offline mode. So I am hopeful this trend will spread to other racers in the open world genera. Thank you Horizon 3 for showing others how its supposed to be done.

As for Far Cry 5 and the new Assassin's Creed I have a feeling they are going to own.

I really hope hope all of these games have a PS4 Pro and Scorpio as their base target platforms and that the PC versions will be full PC++ like both Watch Dogs 2 and Ghost Recon Wildlands have been.

I am really looking forward to seeing all of these games E3 gameplay videos, less than a month to go!

Missing the Prince Of Persia & Splinter Cell games but I thought it would be at least another year before we saw the next Assassin's Creed so that's promising :)

Totally burned out on Far Cry at the moment and I am ready for a unique take on this franchise.
