The Neo Geo games are six classic coin-op titles for the 1980s and 1990s, including Metal Slug 3, Waku Waku 7, King of Fighters '98. World Heroes Perfect, Shock Troopers and NAM-1975. Every game in the collection sells for $7.99 a piece.

If you don't have a Switch, there are the usual assortment of titles for the 3DS this week. And Wii U players are getting Bomberman 64 for virtual consoles, among others. Be sure to check out the full list of games and deals.

Hm. I got excited when you said the Neo Geo games were a collection for $8 and went to buy it on my Switch. Turns out they are $8 each, unless I am missing something...

I saw them last night, and they definitely don't look like part of a collection. $8 each for dumpy old Neo Geo games. nothanks.txt

            First, http://www.shacknews.com/chatty?id=36077527

Secondly, Zelda arrives today. I had to order something over $25 to get an add-on thing from Amazon, and I didn't want to miss out on the pre-order pricing window.

To be fair, not a whole lot of people want those old neo geo games. And with Specter of Tornment, Blaster Master, and Snipper Clips being as cheap as they are it really doesn't make sense to buy the Neo Geo stuff unless you've got a major nostalgia boner for them.

That's not surprising if it's on the Virtual Console.

Virtual console isn't up yet. These are the same ports that Hamster put up on PS4

Oh ok, so it's not just the game dumped to the marketplace is it? Like does it have additional stuff added in vs feeling like a rom in some kind of emulation wrapper?

Blaster Master will be great for my upcoming hour and a half flight. Wonder if I'll be able to beat it. Maybe on the way back.

Shock Troopers and Metal Slug are badass! Probably grab those. BMZ looks cool too. They should do an updated Guardian Legend.
