Nioh to get another demo before February release

If you haven't tried it yet, mark January 21 on your calendar.

Team Ninja's upcoming action RPG Nioh is in the home stretch for a February 7 release, but the team is planning on getting a demo out the door first to build more anticipation.

The Last Chance trial will run January 21-22, offering an expanded version of what was shown at the PlayStation Experience in December. The demo is already on the PlayStation Store and can be preloaded early so there will be no delay when it goes live.

If you are able to make it through the main mission, players will get the Ogress Headgear, while beating the Twilight Mission will give you a last chance to grab the Mark of the Conqueror and Mark of the Strong from the alpha and beta that ran last year. These can then be redeemed in the ful game, but with a bit of finagling. For the headgear, you will need to keep your save data until the full game launches. For the two marks, you will be prompted to download DLC that you will also need to keep on your PS4 until launch. So don't delete the files after the demo is over.

If you need a better description of what the game will be, our David Craddock called it Ninja Gaiden meets Dark Souls. Wow ...
