Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Announced for the Nintendo Switch

Get ready for an all-new adventure on Nintendo's upcoming console.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the sequel(?) to the 2010 JRPG was announced to be in development during the Nintendo Switch reveal event. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is being developed by Monolithsoft, who brought us Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X. The trailer shows the game  features imagery characteristic of the Xenoblade series, incluiding massive structures, futuristic cities, and bright, airy fields.

Few plot details are known at this time, although it looks like the game will feature brand new characters in the main narrative. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Expect to learn more about Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as we await the Nintendo Switch release on March 3.
