BioWare general manager Aaron Flynn took the stage with Nvidia co-founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang to premiere gameplay footage from Mass Effect: Andromeda.

"In that mission, we were helping one of our squad mates go and earn some loyalty," Flynn explained. "That's a whole new planet you'll get to explore. You'll learn about [your companion's] background, the background of the Remnant."

Flynn also highlighted some of the gameplay features on display in the trailer. "You're seeing things like our dynamic profile system, which lets you change your character class dynamically in real-time, something new to Mass Effect."

Mass Effect: Andromeda is the fourth chapter in the Mass effect series, and launches a brand-new story when it releases on March 21 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
