Rocket League's next update will include a custom training feature that will let you tailor training exercises to fill gaps in your rocket-powered repertoire.

"We’ve heard the requests for new ways to train and elevate your Rocket League skills and we’ve also seen the fantastic work done by PC modders with tools like Rocket League Trainer, so we set out to build a feature that lets all of our players build and share their own training sequences within the community," wrote a Psyonix developer in a blog.

Creating a custom training sequence lets you set a number of variables up front, in order to modify training exercises to areas where you want to improve. You'll name your creation, select a map, choose Striker or Goalie training sequence, set a difficulty level, and then use tags to describe your customized training sequences, such as dribbling or wall shots.

Once you set those parameters, you get down to editing nitty-gritty details such as revising your shoot list and editing specific shots.

"Each shot can be tested in real-time, modified, and tested again to make it quick and easy to develop your new training sequence," Psyonix explained.

After tweaking your sequence just so, you can upload it for others to try.

Look for Rocket League's custom training feature in the game's next update.
