Take A Look At Horizon: Zero Dawn's Open World With The Latest Trailer

Yep, looks expansive, alright.

The PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn is on the way from Guerrilla Games, which you may remember from the Killzone series. I can't shake thinking about Heavenly Sword whenever I see it in action, and I'm not quite sure why. Perhaps it's the protagonist's red hair. In any case, there's a new trailer for your viewing pleasure. It's called "Creating a New World," and it shows off the wide vistas of Horizon.

The developers offer some insight on how "storytelling in an open world in an RPG is not something they hadn't done before" and all of the other typical banter you get in trailers like these. Wonderful challenges, opportunities, so fresh and so clean. You know the drill. Not to downplay the value of the trailer, but this is pretty par for the course when it comes to these types of clips.

There's some discussion of the "eco-topes" you'll find within the game as well, including varied environments like forests, deserts ruins, jungles and more, and don't forget plenty of looks at the upcoming game, which is slated for release on February 28, 2017.
