Red Dead Redemption 2 Announcement Teased by Rockstar Games on Twitter

Quit playing with our hearts, Rockstar!

Rockstar Games took to social media this morning to post their company logo on a blood red background.

The company is undoubtedly hyping up a long rumored sequel to their smash hit series, Red Dead Redemption. Gamers have been waiting for another chapter in the great story of the Marston family. Some folks are wary of another new open world online game from Rockstar as GTA Online has been characterized by some as a nightmarish hellscape of Shark Card driven microtransactions. Red Dead Redemption had some of the best online multiplayer at the time of its release, and we look forward to getting more information than a cryptic tweet on a Sunday morning.

Are you excited for more Red Dead? Do you think it will launch simultaneously on PC? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Technically it could also be a RDR 1 remaster/ PC port (maybe with a slight tease of a sequel down the road)

It could be some stupid GTA Online DLC that turns water into blood for all we know... Only $200 in Shark Cards for Type O blood!

Maybe I'd try playing it again. I couldn't get into it for some reason.

It's a bit late for a PC port I think

You guys. It didn't come out for PC.

IT DIDN'T. Not every game comes out for PC.

Instead of bitching FOR LITERALLY SIX YEARS, maybe figure out how to play the game.

Or if you don't want to do that, shut the fuck up.

Not every game comes out for PC.

It's out. It's been out. You can play it if you want to. If you REALLY REALLY REALLY want to play the game you'll figure it out. If you refuse to play it on a device that isn't up to your technical standards, you don't really care about the game, you just want numbers to brag about.

Whooooaaaa there horsey, I'm only speculating. It makes sense to think they might at some point do a RDR remaster, and if they go that route it makes sense for a PC version to be a part of that plan.

Wasn't there a Reddit post from a former employee a while back hinting that their next project was a sequel to RDR?

Strange that it never came out for pc. I remember even in 2010 thinking that the resolution was too grainy for the shadows and some of the distance terrain. It hindered the majesty of the open plains.

Back then pc piracy was crazy, and as always the big money was with Consoles, so why not use the resources to build the next big game instead of a pc release?
