Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands' new gameplay trailer shows us its stealthy side

It's time to get silent, but deadly, in Wildlands' latest gameplay trailer.

Ubisoft has released a new gameplay walkthrough for its upcoming open-world title, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, that shows players who prefer to take the silent but deadly approach how they could go that route in the game.

The gameplay walkthrough shows off some of the team-based gameplay, which includes supporting other squad mates by taking out targets at long range, tagging enemies, and using the time of day and weather in order to handle their job in a stealthy manner. One ability highlighted in the gameplay trailer is the Sync Shot, which allows all of your teammates to know who should be taken out when the first shots are fired.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is scheduled to release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in March 2017.

Not sure what I think about those random rival gangs showing up and starting shit in the middle of the camp, though. I was skipping through the video so i might have missed the explanation of why they were there all of a sudden, but it looked pretty strange.

They freed them from two prison cells. One by openings the door, the other by sniping the padlock.

Who knows why the prisoners had guns though.

I agree looks awesome day 1 for me, I can't wait to play it and am so glad it has SP as a option, I admit the co-op sound pretty epic though.

Looking forward to this, it's the Division without the PvP and looks like the loot system. I really find having higher levels of weapons in a game especially of they're guns kind of silly. Now good guns being more expensive and letting players accessorize them to various degrees makes sense. That's what I loved about Jagged Alliance 2.

It would be nice in a game you can finish it with the same weapon you started out with. Not saying you have to be being able to would be nice foundation in reality.

Man, I REALLY want Ubisoft to not fuck this game up. There hasn't been a great GR since Advanced Warfighter. Phantoms was crap.

And yeah, I know, its early stuff, but the original trailer's graphics vs these newer trailers... not the same. Looks heavily downgraded.

I remain cautious about this. Ubi are notorious for the actual game play not living up to the demo video hype. I will await further news.

R6 Siege exceeded expectations. Division was on par with what I expected it to be. Same goes for Far Cry 4 and the others. What fell short?

Only example I can think of is Watch Dogs. Overall Ubi is pretty solid IMHO.

Yeah, Watch Dogs I agree with. I remember the first Assassin's Creed being overhyped but the Ezio games were great. Then they alternated between being good and mediocre.

Worse graphics are agiven at this point. Hopefully the gameplay is good.

Tbh all I want from a coop shooter is one person able to fly a helicopter support while someone else plays on the ground.

That sounds good on paper, but if it uses matchmaking, it's probAbly not gonna be good in practice.

I have a couple coworkers that want to coop this in a party which I think is the best way to do it.

Always wanted a game based around the Operation Reciprocity portion of Clear and Present Danger. This looks to be that reality.
