SEGA has announced Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live will be releasing on the PlayStation VR on October 13.

Unlike Hatsune Miku’s previously-released titles, VR Future Live appears to be more of an “experience” than it is a game. Fans will be able to experience a Miku concert in VR as they’ll be transported to a large stadium filled with thousands of fans. Players will be given the opportunity to move throughout the audience in order to get the best view of the event.

It wouldn’t be a Miku concert without some glow sticks, so players can use their DualShock 4 controllers to keep time with the beat during musical performances, which will unlock various easter eggs. Once players progress through three songs, Miku will then offer a solo encore performance to the viewer.

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live will be available as a free download with players required to purchase Stages in order to play any content. The first Stage will release on October 13 and will include the following seven tracks:

  • Love Trial by 40mP
  • 1/6 - out of the gravity - by noa
  • Satisfaction by kz
  • Weekender Girl by kz & Hachioji P
  • 39 by DECO*27 & sasakure.UK
  • Cute Medley - Idol Sounds by Mitchie M
  • Love Song by Lamaze-P

A total of three Stages will be available for purchase, each of which costing $14.99. A Season Pass will also be available that includes all Stages for $39.99.
