Armored Core has a new game coming, with From Software working on two more

The others are probably a VR game planned for 2017 and a new IP.

Dark Souls developer From Software is staying busy. Not only are they close to releasing new DLC for the ridiculously difficult Dark Souls 3, but they also have three more games in the works, with one of them being a new Armored Core.

From president Hidetaka Miyazaki played it coy when talking to IGN at the Tokyo Game Show when tlaking about what the company has planned for the future. "So there are several titles that we are currently working on [...] Some of those are dark fantasy, some of those could be a mech [game] - that's one thing. The second thing is that one of the new titles I've been working on will probably comply with the expectations from the fans in straightforward manner."

He did confirm that Armored Core was the mech game, and that one of the other titles was a bit ... weird. "When I say weird, I mean that the genre we're trying to try might be a little bit weird. Not only that, but all the other actual game content might be a little bit weird, yes."

Earlier this year, From had confirmed they were working on a new IP, as well as a VR-compatible game slated for 2017. But Miyazaki continued to talk without saying much. "There are still several obstacles we need to overcome to launch those new titles, so we're not sure how many more years we need to build those, but we're looking forward to making an announcement in the future."
