Final Fantasy 15 PlayStation 4 special edition console announced

Sony and Square Enix have revealed a special edition PS4 for the upcoming launch of Final Fantasy 15.

Not to be outdone with all of the special bundles Microsoft has been giving its Xbox One consoles, Sony has announced a special edition PlayStation 4 Slim console for the upcoming release of Final Fantasy 15.

The special edition console was announced last night during Sony’s 2016 PlayStation Press Conference and features a minimalist look. The moon that shines down on the game’s world of Eos is featured on the front, along with the game’s logo and the names of its four main protagonists. The DualShock 4 also has a bit of branding on it as an “XV” can be seen on the right handle of the controller.

The special edition PlayStation 4 Slim console is expected to be released on November 29th in Japan, which is when the game itself launches. As for now, there’s no word yet if we can expect the console to makes it way to the West, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy its sweet, sweet visuals.

Will retail for 20% less than an unbranded console due to it being ruined forever.

      Good choice, Sony!

because by releasing this they've made it no longer possible to buy a base black system?

im unsure you understand the reasoning behind special edition consoles.

It was a joke. I think FF is a franchise that lost its way over a decade ago. So to me, that brand on the unit is akin to flame stickers on a Honda Accord.
