If you are one of the few who have not tried Overwatch yet, Blizzard is giving you a chance with a free weekend from September 9-12.

As part of the event, all 22 heroes, 13 maps and the four game modes will be available. Quick Play, Custom Game, Play vs. AI and Weekly Brawl will also be open. There are no restrictions on PS4 players, but you must have Xbox Gold to participate. Downloads will start on September 9 at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET, with free play ending on September 12 at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET.

The good news is that if you enjoy the game and decide to purchase the Origins edition, all progress and stats will be saved. But trophies and achievements will be disabled.

For PlayStation 4, the download size is around 9GB. For Xbox One, its about 15GB.

If you enjoyed TeamFortress2 in any way, overwatch will satisfy you.

      I'm hopelessly addicted.

I hated TF2. Just couldn't get into it at all. I fucking love Overwatch and can't stop playing it.

So to sum it up...you will love this game regardless about how you feel about anything else.

There's an outstanding bug with the aim assist on consoles that should be fixed by next week's patch so maybe they were waiting on that.

Are some of the heroes *not* accessible on the consoles?
