Microsoft has announced the 2TB Xbox One S launch edition will release on August 2 for $399.

The 2TB Xbox One S launch edition comes bundled with the new Xbox One Wireless Controller, which now features textured grips, an improved Xbox Wireless signal and Bluetooth support. Those looking to purchase additional controllers can pick them up on August 2 as well for $59.99.

Microsoft says availability is limited, while demand for the console remains high, so it encourages those who are interested in the upcoming console to pre-order it sooner rather than later.

Additional hard drive options for the Xbox One S will include a 1TB and 500GB version priced at $349 and $299, respectively. Unfortunately, when exactly those versions of the Xbox One S will be available is still unknown at this time as Microsoft will share that information in the near future.

We learned some additional details regarding the Xbox One S during E3 2016 when we spoke with Aaron Greenberg regarding the console itself, and Monique Chatterjee regarding the new Xbox One controller and Microsoft’s design lab. We also learned recently the Xbox One S will have the ability to upscale all games to 4K.
