Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is releasing in the US on June 28, 2016 on PlayStation 4, and to celebrate, Square Enix has released the game’s official launch trailer.

The launch trailer for the fifth Star Ocean title offers a look at the game’s overall story, which includes a lot of angry individuals who appear to either be defending or hunting a small child, who we assume is very important. The trailer is filled with in-game cinematics and battle sequences, which gives us a pretty clear indication of what to expect from the game when it releases next week.

How? How can the voice acting for this series be sooooo baaaaad? Maybe I'm getting old, but I just can't stomach these JRPGs anymore.

The last Star Ocean was super WTF pretty much all the way through. I actually finished it but I'm not sure why.

Supposedly, there's dual audio (Japanese), so I'm happy about that.

That probably makes it much more tolerable, at the very least. I don't think it was an option on the Xbox 360 version of SO4 that I played...

Yes, they added dual audio to the last one in the "International Version' that came later. The original only had English, and possibly one of the worst professional dubs in the history of anime or video games.

I think I remember writing that in an earlier story.

This is the very reason why I watch my anime subtitled instead of dubbed. English voice actors just sound weird to me.
