E3 2016: EA posts new Titanfall 2 teaser

Mechs stomp around ahead of this Sunday's world reveal.

We're just two days away from pre-E3 conferences. Electronic Arts will uncover Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, and gameplay from lots of other games this Sunday, June 12, at 1pm Pacific / 4pm Eastern. To whet your appetite, EA tweeted out a new teaser for Titanfall 2.

It's just a teaser, so don't expect much. Ships diving around, and a pilot and his mech preparing to enter battle.

Since the teaser doesn't reveal much, let's run down what we do now. We know that Titanfall 2 will be multiplatform, unlike its predecessor, which was on PC and console-exclusive to Xbox One. We know it's one of EA's heavyweights for 2016, and will release within a few weeks of Battlefield 1 this fall. Before? After? Rumors say October. EA will likely put speculation to rest this weekend.

As a reminder, EA's doing something a little different this year. It's pulled out of E3 and will be holding its own event, EA Play, to highlight games due for release in 2016 and beyond. EA Play will run from June 12-14 in London and LA, just down the street from the LA Convention Center from which E3 will emanate from June 14-16.
