Dubbing itself the "official sponsor of summer fun," Nintendo has announced Play Nintendo Tour 2016, a summer road tour featuring hands-on time with 3DS XL and 2DS games, and opportunities to pose with iconic Nintendo characters.

Play Nintendo events will be held in the Nintendo Gaming Lounge of participating Marquis & Marina hotels. Swing by, and you can go hands-on with New 3DS XL and 2DS systems and games including Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Yoshi's New Island, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Kirby: Planet Robobot, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and Yo-Kai Watch.

Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, and Seattle are just some of the stops on the Play Nintendo Tour. You can check out the full schedule via the screenshot below, or by visiting the official page.

The titles scheduled to be on hand are well-known, so Play Nintendo Tour seems to be an effort to revitalize interest in the Big N's five-year-old library of 3DS titles and hardware.
