Square Enix has announced its Minecraft-esque RPG, Dragon Quest Builders, will be getting a Western release as the title is expected to launch on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America in October 2016.

Dragon Quest Builders will task players to flex their creative muscle as they gather and combine a variety of unique tools and materials in hopes to rebuild the decimated realm of Alefgard, which was destroyed by Dragonlord, the ruler of the monsters. The player takes on the role of the Legendary Builder, who will rebuild the realm in your own image as you work to bring an end to the Dragonlord’s reign of evil.

The game will offer a combination of sandbox gameplay along with an immersive story that will allow players the opportunity to interact with a number of characters and monsters that are synonymous with the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest Builders will launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in October 2016.
