Salt and Sanctuary available now on PC

You'll find the 2D Dark-Souls-like on Steam and the Humble Bundle store.

Developer Ska Studios told us that Salt and Sanctuary would come to PC sooner rather than later. Luckily for fans who can't get enough Dark Souls-style games, Ska decided in favor of sooner: Salt and Sanctuary is now available through Steam and Humble Bundle for $17.99.

Heavily inspired by Dark Souls with more than a pinch of Metroid-vania stirred in for flavor, Salt and Sanctuary translates Souls-style gameplay to 2D admirably. There's still plenty of rolling and swordplay, but Ska introduced new wrinkles into the proven formula, such as stamina and magic meters that gradually drain as you perform special actions, and can only be topped off by resting at bonfire-like pit stops.

Both stores are offering an introductory discount of 10 percent on Salt and Sanctuary through May 24, dropping the price to $16.19.
