Forza Motorsport 6 indeed gets its NASCAR expansion

And its available today for $20

The Forza Motorosport 6 NASCAR expansion was outed earlier this month in the UK, but we get a two-fer now with the official announcement of the Xbox One add-on and that it is available today.

The expnasion will include 24 cars from the current NASCAR season, add the Homestead track from Miami, and have a 10-hour World Tour career mode, which will let players take their stock cars to different spots in the world tos ee how they would fare against other cars such as Australian V8s or WEC prototypes from Le Mans.

“The NASCAR Expansion highlights the power and passion of both Forza Motorsport and NASCAR,” Dan Greenawalt, creative director of developer Turn 10 Studios, said in a release. “With the addition of the NASCAR Expansion, Forza 6 now offers more than 600 Forzavista cars to collect, customize, and race. Players will be able to compete on tracks from around the world and across a huge variety of international motorsport disciplines. Bringing these kinds of automotive fantasies to life is what Forza Motorsport is all about.”

The expansion costs $20 and full list of the cars is avialable on the official site. There was no word on if the expansion would eventually make it to the free version of Forza called Apex, which just recently went into open beta.
