E3 2016: Sony press conference begins at 6pm Pacific on Monday, June 13

Sony locks down its usual date and time, but will the manufacturer talk about PlayStation Neo?

As expected, Sony will host its E3 press conference on June 13, the Monday before E3, at 6pm Pacific—its usual date and time. The event will emanate from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, just down the road from the Convention Center where E3 will kick off the next day.

Sony's invite doesn't mention any talking points, but pundits expect the company to devote a significant chunk of time to information on PlayStation VR. The big question is whether or not Sony will pull back the curtain on PlayStation Neo, an upgraded PlayStation 4 revealed back in April.

We'll have more to report on Sony's E3 plans as the event draws closer.
