Doom concept art reveals just how ugly the demons are

Yes, this is more promotional material for a certain hell-raising game coming out on Friday.

Doom is hitting shelves on Friday and we've already seen the launch trailer, so what else is there to promote the game? How about 13 pieces of concept art.

Bethesda released the images (via The Sun) from several of the team's artists. Creative Director Hugo Martin told The Sun that "Playful but deadly, that’s the theme used in a lot of the monsters in DOOM." Concept artist James Martin said that "Bringing the Pinky to life was a fun challenge. It was important to really dig deep on this iconic Doom demon and do the Pinky some modern justice."

Check out the gallery:

Bethesda isn't shipping out early copies of the game, so you'll get our review as soon as its done. The game is coming out for PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Most of the demons look great, but those, they are so bad.

I so dislike that Cyberdemon. He's just goofy, almost cartoony. :(

I can't stop hating the new imp, the one from the e3 looks a lot better and more scary, this one looks more like a cockroach than a demon
