All keyed up for Halo 5's impending Warzone Firefight beta? You've got a few more days to wait, as the beta doesn't go live until Thursdays. But 343 Industries has a balm to soothe that Firefight itch you so desperately want to itch—two balms, in fact!

Tomorrow, beginning at 3pm Pacific / 6pm Eastern, 343 Industries will host a livestream on Halo's Twitch and YouTube channels to reveal gameplay details ahead of Thursday's beta. If living in a world where instant gratification means everything and teases like "tune in tomorrow!" mean absolutely nothing, you can get a glimpse of tomorrow's glimpse today, by way of a brief promo trailer.

Halo fans have been clamoring for more Firefight goodness since the mode's introduction in Halo 3: ODST, and 343 Industries has tightened a few screws to deliver the same hectic experience with modern twists. Like in ODST's implementation, Halo 5's Warzone Firefight groups players into teams, with each group boasting eight players instead of ODT's cap of four. From there, you'll mow down waves of enemies and complete objectives over five rounds of plays.

To counterbalance the greater number of players on a team, Halo 5's take on Firefight will throw more enemies on the screen at once, headlined by Mythic-level bosses. "Thought the Warden Eternal was menacing? You ain't seen nothing yet," said a Microsoft rep (no doubt while rubbing their dry hands together and laughing manically).

Tune in to Halo's Twitch and YouTube channels tomorrow at 3pm Pacific / 6pm Eastern to get the full scoop, or just check back in with Shacknews, since we'll be covering news from the stream as announcements are made.
