You Can Go Ahead and Purchase Battleborn and Its Season Pass Now

Gentleman, start your buying engines!

If you're looking to get into Gearbox's upcoming Battleborn, you might want to squirrel away a few extra bucks to pick up the season pass as well. 2K and Gearbox have announced both the Season Pass and Digital Deluxe Edition for Battleborn are available for you to purchase right now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game itself doesn't launch proper until May 3, but you can go ahead and buy all five add-on packs that are coming post-launch with special PvE Story Operations, taunts, and skins.

If you participate in the PS4 beta, you'll receive the first add-on pack for free as well as a new character: Alani. There's also a hero unlock key with beta access that allows players to unlcok any hero in the game of their choice.

The Digital Deluxe Edition will run you $74.99 and will include the game, Season Pass, and additional customizations as well. If you're looking to get in a ton of Battleborn in the future, like I said, start saving those pennies.

I still don't know what to think about Battleborn. There's an open beta coming soon, I might give it a shot. I feel like its going to get lost post Overwatch release. As will all the other games that are seemingly the same.

It didn't do anything for me personally. That's not me saying its bad or anything either. It had that great Blizzard polish to it for sure, just not a game I have any real interest in playing. At least not right at release.

Just be cause I can doesn't mean I will. I can fly to remote parts of Africa and catch ebola but it doesn't mean I will.
