Microsoft and 343 Industries have debuted the first gameplay video highlighting Halo 5’s upcoming Warzone Firefight, which it teased just a few weeks ago.
Warzone Firefight combines the epic battles and grand scale of the Warzone multiplayer mode and allows up to eight players to work cooperatively in order to complete five rounds. Each round will bump up its difficulty and include dynamic objectives which will hopefully keep things fresh each time we play. In fact, Microsoft is promising “thousands of matches” before players will see the same objective combination.
Microsoft is promising Warzone Firefight will include the most on-screen enemies in franchise history, including a new tier of Mythic enemy bosses.
Warzone wouldn’t feel right without the inclusion of the REQ System, and Warzone Firefight will offer players full access to their weapons, vehicles, power-ups, armor mods and more.
Microsoft plans on releasing Warzone Firefight this summer.
