Enter the Gungeon will be released on PlayStation 4 and PC on April 5th, Devolver Digital announced today.

Enter the Gungeon is a 2D dungeon explorer we first learned about during E3 2015. Players will head out on a quest to find a super weapon that has the power to kill the past. In your travels, you’ll come across a number of different weapons, items, enemies, allies, and ruthless bosses. Considering how much killing you’ll be doing, it’s a good thing Enter the Gungeon has a co-op mode.

In addition to today’s release date news, Devolver Digital has released a new trailer for Enter the Gungeon that gives us a closer look at its gameplay.
