Nintendo has announced Pokkén Tournament will launch on the Wii U on March 18.
Those who purchase the first production run of Pokkén Tournament will be able to receive a special Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card, which can be used in order to unlock the Shadow Mewtwo playable character in the game.
We first learned Pokkén Tournament would be headed to the Wii U several months ago, and we also learned both Pikachu Libre and Shadow Mewtwo would be entering the ring. As of this writing, we know there will be a total of 16 playable Pokémon to fight as and 20 non-playable assist Pokémon, although we’re sure that roster will grow through future DLC.
