EA DICE development director Dan Vaderlind has confirmed he is now working on “the next Battlefield” now that Star Wars Battlefront has officially shipped.
This revelation shouldn’t be that surprising to those who have followed DICE over the years as the studio is often working on a new Battlefield game after it strays from the series for a bit. The last numbered Battlefield was Battlefield 4, which released back in 2013. After two years of releasing new DLC for the game, and shipping both Battlefield Hardline and Star Wars Battlefront, the studio is now returning to its roots.
Considering we’re entering the end of the year fairly quickly, we wouldn’t be surprised if EA makes a reveal for the next Battlefield title during E3 2016. In the meantime, we guess we can continue attempting to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront in its current state.

Huh, cool, well we know this will be a Frostbite 4 title show case and will be juiced with DX12, man I really wonder what it will be like?
Please be could could be insane, I have a feeling they are going to go full retard to get some credit back since a bunch shit on them for Battlefront.
E3 2016 is going to be crazy.
Still waiting on Bad Company 3....
