The road to the Halo World Championship kicks off on December 6

343 Industries and Xbox have announced their Halo World Championship will kick off in December with a prize pool of $1.7 million, which continues to grow thanks to the Halo community.

The eSports championship starts on December 6 as Online Ladder matches will commence. Between December 19 and January 31, Online Qualifiers and Regional In-Person Live Events will start, which will continue to Regional Finals between January 23 to February 21 across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia/Australia/New Zealand.

Between March 1 to March 20, the Halo World Championship Prelims and Finals will then commence.

Those interested in learning more or registering for the Halo World Championship can do so by heading to the Halo eSports portal. eSports fans will be able to watch livestreams of all of the action as ladders, qualifiers, regionals, and finals will air on both the Halo and Xbox Twitch channels.
