Halo 5 hunts the truth in Minecraft later this week

Halo 5: Guardians will be infiltrating Minecraft later this week as an update to the Halo Edition mash-up pack will be released later this week.


Halo 5: Guardians is releasing next week, although fans of Microsoft’s iconic first-person shooter series can done their Spartan gear just a few days earlier. No - you won’t be given access to Halo 5 prior to release, but you can play as Master Chief, Blue Team, and Fireteam Osiris in Minecraft: Xbox One Edition and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

The pack will include a Halo-themed texture set, themed menus and UI, craftable items, and 31 music tracks that span across the entire Halo franchise. A total of 40 character skins depicting various characters from the Halo universe, including Master Chief, Cortana, Sergeant Johnson, the Arbiter and more.

The Minecraft: Halo Edition mash-up pack will receive a free update which will bring characters from Halo 5 to Minecraft. If you have yet to purchase this pack, it will include the special Halo 5 content and the original pack for $3.99.
