The first official movie trailer for Ratchet & Clank is here, and just like the Angry Birds film adaptation, it looks like yet another video game property that’s staying true to its source material.

The trailer for the Ratchet & Clank film tells a story of two unlikely heroes who struggle to stop a vile alien named Chairman Drek from destroying every planet within the Solana Galaxy. The two team up with a group of heroes called The Galactic Rangers in order to save the galaxy from a dangerous weapon capable of destroying entire planets.

Ratchet & Clank is scheduled to be released in the US on April 16, 2016.
