Street Fighter 5 second beta kicks off in late October for both PC and PS4 players

Capcom has announced both PC and PlayStation 4 players will be able to partake in the global beta for Street Fighter 5 later this month. They've also revealed what characters will be available to play and additional features.

Capcom has announced the second Street Fighter 5 global beta will kick off on October 22nd and run through October 25.

For its second beta, the developer is opening beta access to PC users for the first time on October 24th and will be testing PlayStation 4 to PC cross-platform play functionality on October 24th and 25th.

The second global beta will feature Ken, Necalli, Vega, and R. Mika as playable characters with Rashid being added on October 23 and Karin being added on October 24. The characters from the previous beta won’t be available this time around. That means Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, Birdie, Nash, and M. Bison will be sitting this round out.

The beta will include Ranked Matchmaking, Combined Leaderboards, Player Search, and Fight Money will actually unlock content this time around.
