Today, during the Apple presentation, Harmonix revealed Beat Sports - a motion based game that combines Wii-like sports action with music and rhythm. Players will be challenged to play a number of levels, characterized by colorful monsters, and hit objects in time with the music. The Apple TV remote has a gyroscope, and player can swing it similarly to a Wii controller. The better the timing, the better the score. Tapping on the remote's touch surface moves the character back and forth.
The game supports up to four simultaneous players and will launch on the say day the new Apple TV does.
