Majesco Entertainment has revealed it’s currently developing a new A Boy and His Blob game that is expected to be released some time within the next two fiscal quarters.
The company is now focusing exclusively on offering both downloadable and mobile titles with A Boy and His Blob being just one of the games currently in development. Another game, called Glue, is also in development and is expected to release within the same time frame as A Boy and His Blob on next generation consoles and possibly PC.
A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobonia originally released on the NES back in 1989, which Majesco and WayForward Technologies worked on a re-imaging of that game for the Wii in 2009. The Wii version of A Boy and His Blob featured new levels, new gameplay mechanics, new animation, and new hand-drawn art. Majesco hasn’t revealed much information regarding the new A Boy and His Blob Game, but we hope they’re teaming up with WayForward once again.
