Rise of the Tomb Raider Gamescom demo highlights 13 minutes of tomb raiding

Rise of the Tomb Raider's official Gamescom demo has been released and shows off one of the many tombs we'll be adventuring to in the game.


Microsoft has released its official Gamescom demo of Rise of the Tomb Raider.

The thirteen-minute long demo highlights are portion of the game that has yet to be seen on the Internet. In the demo, Lara Croft is traveling to an oasis inside of a canyon located on the edge of Syria. Suddenly, her vehicle is attacked by a military helicopter, causing an explosive crash and leaving Lara to head into the oasis by foot.

The demo shows off some impressive visuals of as the lighting, atmosphere, and special effects all look fantastic. We can also see Lara finally discover a Tomb, which we’re sure she then attempts to raid. In fact, we got a first-hand look at tomb raiding in Rise of the Tomb Raider back in E3, which you can read for yourself here.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10 and will release on PC in early 2016 and PlayStation 4 in Holiday 2016.
