Arrowhead Studios has announced Gauntlet: Slayer Edition will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 on August 11.
Gauntlet: Slayer Edition will offer a more diverse lineup of enemies to combat as some enemies have been removed, some new ones have been added, and many of them have been tweaked. These tweaks range from changing the enemy’s movement speeds and hit boxes, to equipping enemies with entirely new ability sets. Boss battles haven’t received as much love as standard enemies, although there have been some minor changes even veteran Gauntlet players would want to play through.
Other changes to the synergy between the four Heroes and readability of all of the enemies so players know who they’re going up against have been made.
In its original announcement, we learned Gauntlet: Slayer Edition will feature new weapons, abilities, gameplay modes, and more. As fans of the original Gauntlet, we’re definitely looking forward to its PlayStation 4 release, especially if that means the PC version also gets these changes.

The question is, will it be any good?
