Deus Ex: Mankind Divided continues the story set up in Human Revolution. Using a brand new Dawn engine, Deus Ex will truly come alive on the new generation of consoles. Taking place 2 years after the events of Human Revolution, the augmented have been turned into outcasts and many live in heavily policed ghettos.

Adam Jensen has it better, though. He's part of a covert task force with the mission of stopping global terrorism. However, he's also acting as a double agent, working to bring down the Illuminati. Choices and consequence remain at the heart of the gameplay experience. Player choices will determine both how the game is played, and how the story unfolds.

Of course, to take on these tasks, players will be getting some upgraded equipment. Some of the augments revealed include a PEPS gun built right into Jensen's mechanical arm, and the fact that his nanoblade can be detached and used as projectiles. The gameplay video also shows a sort of multi-target stun gun, and the ability to fully modify conventional weapons. Players will have to decide for themselves how the equipment will be put to use.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will release in early 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
